Archipelago

 

Human Plus 2006 CLIOHnet2 participates in the European Archipelago of Humanistic Thematic Networks. CLIOHnet promoted the formation of this broad Network of Networks whose aim is to establish links and collaboration between the separate ‘humanistic’ disciplines, arts and sciences.
CLIOHnet2 has a Task Force (Task Force 6) devoted to the Archipelago. It has an Archipelago team that participates in the conferences and activities. CLIOHnet2 will have particular responsibilities in the future of the Archipelago, including the HUMAN PLUS 2007 conference to be held in Brussels at the beginning of June 2007: It will be on “Images of Europe” and will prepare for the European Year of Education and Culture in 2009.
