Cukurova University (CU) is a public university which is located in East Mediterranean Region in Turkey. CU occupies a foremost place among other Turkish universities with its 10 faculties, 1 state conservatory, 3 colleges, 9 vocational colleges, 3 institutes and 29 research and application centres. This tranquil setting by the Seyhan Lake is complemented by a motivated staff, innovative labs and modern libraries. The university considers providing highly qualified graduates to Turkey as a top priority. Despite this relative downsizing in 1992, it is observed that the university had grown even stronger by 1993 when the 20th anniversary of the University was celebrated.

The number of the faculties rose to 10 when the faculties of Fisheries, Theology, Dentistry and Fine Arts were established. In 2003 after receiving the EPS, Cukurova University stayed a dynamic partner for European universities. Erasmus mobility, LdV projects increased in a short time just in couple of years; and CU created new partnerships on the Erasmus Thematic Networks. The other programmes supported by EU Commission. Department of International Relations is one of the active department on the European programmes; stayed as a partner in CLIOHnet, CLIOHres, ARCHIPALEGO, CiCe and connections with DANUBE. In these networks, CU has scientific connections with more than 80 High Education Institutions from Europe. In 2005 CU found a new programme related by LLL.

This programme provide to learning and teaching courses in many different areas for  all people between 7 to 77 ages. At the same time, CU has one of the e-learning programme in a vocational school from address of the http://e.cu.edu.tr. CU provides Diploma Supplement (DS) to all its graduates free of charge starting from January 2006. CU has awarded DS Label by EU Commission . By the way, DS  facilitates academic and professional recognition, thus increasing the transparency of qualifications; protects national/institutional autonomy while offering a common frame which is accepted all over Europe; promotes informed judgements about qualifications that can be understood in another educational context; raises the visibility of the institution abroad; promotes the employability of their graduates at national and international level.

Our all partners are also public universities from Europe; and they have deeply experiences about IP. From 1998 CLIOH network group was organised 8 different IP programme in Pisa, Gent, Reykjkavik, Roskilde, Riga and  Madrid. Our all partners are also partners of the CLIOHnet and/or CLIOHres partners. After organising the IP programmes , IP books published by CLIOHnet.
