Spanish National Meeting, 25-26 October 2007

The Spanish CLIOHnet2 coordinators (Susana Tavera [Barcelona]; James Amelang [Madrid], Juan Pan-Montojo [Madrid], Jorge Catalá Sanz [Valencia]) organised a special event at the Autonomous University of Madrid: This was the annual meeting of the Asociación de Historia Contemporánea [Contemporary History Association] on the new study programmes in History.

The speakers included the representatives of the working group which had prepared the “Libro Bianco [White Book]” for the Ministry in order to plan the application of the Bologna process and representatives of the Spanish CLIOHnet2 Universities.

The guest speakers were Ann Katherine Isaacs (University of Pisa, CLIOHnet2 Central Coordinator) and Joaquim Ramos de Carvalho (University of Coimbra, Cliohnet2 Coordinator for Coimbra) and both active in developing CLIOHnet2/Tuning guidelines.
