National Meeting Reykjavik, 8-12 August 2007

 

The 26th Nordic History Congress was held in Reykjavik. This Congress has been held usually 3 times per decade since 1905, and draws historians from all the Nordic countries as well as specialists in Nordic history from outside of the region. At the 26th Congress, CLIOHnet2 was represented by the hosts (Professor Guðmundur Hálfdanarson, Department of History, University of Iceland), and by Professors Geir Atle Ersland (Bergen); Henrik Jensen (Roskilde) and Taina Syrjämaa (Turku), both in the scientific sessions and in the information stand, where they presented CLIOHnet2, distributed information materials (brochures, books) and answered questions.
